Changing channels
Written by Eve Manary
Inspired by the Neo-Futurists, Changing Channels is fast-paced and has an absurd sense of humor highlighting surreal and humorous character interactions, subversion of audience expectations, and a fast-paced frantic energy as it lampshades the typical conventions of television we all see on screens every night.
Thank you to our sponsoring partner High Tide Theatrical

Welcome to the DOTS Fringe Festival, Eve!
Eve Manary has been interested in writing and acting from a very young age. Eve said, “I completed my first play in the fifth grade and I haven’t stopped writing since. Though I have spent a large portion of my life writing, this would be the first time seeing my work brought to life onstage, a dream of mine since elementary school.” DOTS is thrilled to help make that dream come true!

Growing up I always had a passion for theater and musical theater. So, I’ve done acting for as long as I could since 7th grade. When I’m not doing theater and not being a full time college student, I like to sit down and write. Writing for me is a release of emotion and even if the words don’t make sense there is always meaning. Other than that, I like to play first person shooter games and a handful of Nintendo games like Mario and Animal Crossing.
I would like to shout out to my brother. Without him, I don’t think I would be the same person today doing what I love. If it wasn’t due to a trip up in his production of Anything Goes, I wouldn’t have been able to spark this passion. So, thank you Jason. I love you.
